So as all of you might have already known, a few months ago I was given this absolutely wonderful opportunity to attend a conference in the US of A by the wonderful people at FutureGov Consultancy or as I know them… Mr. @DominicCampbell and friends 🙂
So what is the Personal Democracy Forum Conference all about???
The Personal Democracy Forum is the world’s largest and best known conference on the intersection of technology and politics. For the sixth year, more than 1,000 top opinion makers, political practitioners, technologists and journalists will come together to network, exchange ideas, and explore how technology and the Internet are changing politics, democracy, and society. Join us at Jazz at Lincoln Center (Broadway and 60th St.) for two uniquely stimulating and inspiring days of keynotes, breakouts and networking.
In case you’ve forgotten, I was actually supposed to attend the Politics Online Conference in April, but due to unforeseen circumstances as stated in this blog post, I was unable to attend that conference but the lovely people at @futuregov were more than understanding and offered me to attend the PDF conference instead. Thank you @FutureGov! 🙂
MOVERS AND SHAKERS BABY!
So here I am, in the BIG APPLE, exploring the unknown and meeting the great minds of today and tomorrow and not to forget the absolute mind-blowing movers and shakers speakers that are going to speak at this event. Oh my gosh, guys, it is like going to the OSCARS for me! Meeting and being in the same room as the people who are making huge shifts and changes in the world of technology and politics is just…. actually there are no words that could express how appreciative I am to be given this opportunity. I mean Mayor Micheal Bloomberg will be there delivering the keynote speech! How cool is that?!?
Just in case you’ve forgotten, here is the video I submitted to @FutureGov ….
